How to Export Bluebeam Tool Sets as BTX Files — Sharing Guide
Exporting your custom Bluebeam tool sets as BTX files lets you share them with your team or sell them. This page explains the export process.
Export Steps
1. Open Revu and go to Tool Chest. 2. Right-click the tool set you want to export. 3. Select Export. 4. Choose a save location and file name. 5. Click Save. The .btx file is ready to share.
What Gets Exported
The BTX file contains all tool definitions, their properties (colour, size, layer), and their PDF appearance streams. Resource files like images are embedded in the hex-encoded payload.
Sharing and Distribution
